We are seeking a strong C#.NET Developer for a 6 month contract position in Calgary, Alberta.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Software Development services to our client on a billable basis.
- Prepare technical designs for assigned tasks
- Deliver on assigned development focused tasks
- Completed features handed over to test
- Perform testing procedures on completed features
- Report to development team lead on progress and issues as they occur
- Perform knowledge transfer
- Ensure consistent and high quality level built into solution
- Ensure effective development team working practices are implemented
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in web-based systems in a multi-tier architecture.
- 3+ years of experience in web services in a C#.NET environment
- 5+ years of experience in database design and Oracle SQL
- Experience with Microsoft’s Enterprise Library Application Blocks
- Knowledge of Microsoft Patterns and Practices
DESIRABLE:
- Experience with Enterprise Templates for Visual Studio 2005
- Knowledge of Microsoft HST.NET
- Experience with service oriented architecture design
