Automated System to Support Transparent Cost Model

Project Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to develop an automated system for Information Technology to support the business processes required for the new Transparent Cost Model. This cost model is used by IT in charging clients for services to maintain IT operations. The automated process will collect data from multiple sources, reformat and maintain the data, produce reports, and reduce the manual effort required to produce the monthly service statements.

Proven experience with C# (>2 yrs)
Proven experience with .NET (>2 yrs)
Experience with Oracle (>2 yrs)
Familiarity with OOAD
Familiarity with MicroSoft Active Directory
Familiarity with MicroSoft System Management Server (SMS)
Additional Desired/Optional Skills:
Previous City of Calgary I.T. experience
Knowledge of City of Calgary I.T. standards, processes, and procedures
Previous City of Calgary business area experience
Education background to include a post secondary degree.
Previous experience with financial systems a definite asset
Specific Project Objectives:
Detailed design of the TCM web application
Development of the TCM web application
Testing of the TCM web application
Assignment Term:
2008 July 28 to 2008 November 30 Note: A possibility of this extending to mid-January 2009 to support implementation.
